You may be wondering why I haven't reported back on my
experience with Festival -- the truth is, I've had to drop everything
and get ready to run to Minnesota for a funeral. I'll try Festival
some more at a later time.
I can tell you that I saw a few messages in the terminal
window that Festival couldn't find a compatible bit rate, when it was
trying to play a file at 44.1K.
