I know that almost every one has gotten rid of their Cygwin installs.
However, for a few of us, VMWare doesn't want to work on our computers or we
have other reasons...

4000 years ago I said that I'd find an ATU or two and figure out what needed
to be added or changed in the list of stuff to install in Cygwin to get
GraphicsMagic to work.

Well, here it is:

Change db4.1 to db4.x (pick the highest version)

Add these:
                gcc-c++ (if installing proj support)
                gcc-g77 (if installing proj support)
                gcc-objc (if installing proj support)
                GraphicsMagic (preferred over ImageMagick)

Change these to match the db4.x above:

libdb4.x (pick same version as db-4.x above)
libdb4.x-devel (pick same version as db-4.x above)

Add these:
                libGraphicsMagic-devel (preferred over ImageMagic)
                libGraphicsMagic0 (preferred over ImageMagic)
                libjbig-devel (needed for GraphicsMagic)

Change libtool to libtoolx.x (pick the highest version)

Add
                util-linux
                whois
                xorg-x11-fscl

One other note, if you already have Cygwin installed with ImageMagic and/or
used one of the pre-built Xastir for Cygwin packages, you are better off
wiping the entire Cygwin install and starting over rather than trying to
convert in mid-stream. Package removal isn't a strong point of the Cygwin
installer.
