Creativeness to the rescue! A little bit of styrene and MEK one could make a housing that would tuck nicely with a GPS (one of the smaller ones). The housing would include a mic element, PTT and tracker. A single cable then is used to connect to the radio. The text messaging would still not be an option. Back to the real topic!
