You can argue with the practicality, but I'm trying to dump position packets from a DStar radio/repeater to the standard APRS frequency via a digi co-located with the DStar system. Is there a way (I doubt it) to get Xastir to accept third party position packets? IGated packets seem to always come out in third-party format which is probably appropriate. Here's what happens -
Original packet received from a Lowrance AirMap 100 feeding an ICOM IC-91AD's low speed serial port via DStar (DSTARInterface + javAPRSIGate + javAPRSSrvr) on 440.525 (K5CTX-B): KE5C>APJI23,DSTAR*,qAR,K5CTX-B:!3104.32N/09723.59W-360/000 TESTING/A=000568 The same packet gated to RF (same site and computer, different instance of javAPRSSrvr + javAPRSIGate + KISSInterface) via TNC on 144.39 (N5TD-15): N5TD-15>APJI23,WIDE2-1:}KE5C>APJI23,TCPIP,N5TD-15*:!3104.32N/09723.59W-360/000 TESTING/A=000568 73, John _______________________________________________ Xastir mailing list [email protected] http://lists.xastir.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/xastir
