Depends on how you installed it.
If via RPM - then the usual 'rpm -e <package name>' will do it.
If via CVS - try 'make uninstall' in your xastir source directory - same
place you would run 'make install' from.
If you want to do it manually - just delete all the xastir stuff with
something like 'rm -fr <path/name>'
/usr/share/local/xastir
/usr/local/bin/xastir
/usr/local/lib/xastir
and any ~/.xastir directories users may have.
Now - be careful. If you're going to re-install AND you've installed any
custom maps, FCC index or the like - don't delete that /usr/local/xastir
directory or you'll have to re-do them as well.
But, if you just need to start your compile fresh - just run
make distclean in your xastir source directory, then you can start over
with ./bootstrap.sh, ./configure, etc, etc.
Now that's out of the way - why are you un-installing?

Is there a way to completely uninstall xastir so one can start fresh?
