I haven't done any memory checks but a leak in one of the libraries makes sense. I guess I'll have to either try one of the 10.4 betas or another flavor of Linux for my main machine.
-----Original Message----- From: Curt, WE7U [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, April 16, 2008 08:32 I've noticed some memory leaks with OpenSUSE-10.3 running Xastir. At least my memory image keeps increasing whether or not I have snapshots turned on, without messing with maps at all, hooked to firenet (filtered at 1000km). It's not supposed to do that, so something in the libraries has a major memory leak. I restarted it yesterday and it's showing 518MB virtual, 489MB resident, 6424 shared right now. That's pretty bad. So... Is it possible that you're just running out of memory? That's what mine is doing. I haven't tried to find out what library is sucking all the memory yet. _______________________________________________ Xastir mailing list [email protected] http://lists.xastir.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/xastir
