I am trying to get Ubuntu 8.04 with AX25 running
I have the AX25 running and can see data on both ports of the KAM XL,
with axlisten. But when trying to start the port in Xastir, I get.
socket: Operation not permitted

Interface Error! Error opening interface 0 Hard Fail
I know that Xastir need to have root privileges for AX25 ports.
I this set up working with Ubuntu 6.04 and Xastir 1.7, but trying to
upgrade.
