I've played with it a bit and can not figure it out. It also happens on an Internet Server connection.
The problem does not happen all of the time, sometimes it will connect. When it does not connect I see it saying "Looking up host 192.168.1.205" (the host where AGWPE is running, then it will say "Looking up host x" where x has been 10, 9, 8, or 5 - all single numbers. I'll do some more looking (probably not until next week) and see if there are some known issues with cygwin and Vista. -- William McKeehan KI4HDU http://mckeehan.homeip.net On Wed, June 25, 2008 12:10 pm, Curt, WE7U wrote: > On Tue, 24 Jun 2008, William McKeehan wrote: > >> I just started seeing this error (built from today's CVS) on Xastir under >> Cygwin on Vista when I try to open an AGWPE interface (AGWPE is on a >> different >> machine): >> >> 55735 [main] xastir 2940 child_copy: linked dll data write copy failed, >> 0x24C000..0x24C040, done 0, windows pid 5028, Win32 error 487 >> Tue Jun 24 21:15:58 EDT 2008: >> Interface Error!
