Hi again all... I had an earlier try at correcting this, and thought I had it licked with an earlier library. Seems I was wrong.
2 main culprits: Station Info, and Map Chooser. Station Chooser is also affected, and there may be others... They appear either totally minimised to a tiny unintelligible blob, or half-sensibly full-width (though often nil height). Each should come up (given sufficient Main Window width) at a minimum of sufficient width to show all (fixed-size) buttons; last button on right in Map Chooser is "Cancel", and in Station Info it's "Change Trail Color" (Bottom buttons re-size to fit window). Station Chooser has only two, but these showing properly is wide enough to show Callsigns. Each should come up _after_ the info to be displayed has been acquired, and number of lines of text determined. This would admit of determining the required window height (to maximum of Main Window height). "Modifiers Found!" dialog comes up all sorts of shapes and sizes - should this be fixed size? All seem to come up reliably "docked" at the top-left corner of the Main Window; this works well and should not change.
