Hi Jim, Was playing around with Fluxbuntu and Xastir and I found it has to be a permissions issue somewhere (haven´t figured it out yet)... If I run Xastir as me, the serial port hard fails, if I run ´sudo xastir &´ I can then open the port and, yes, actually get the gps data... I did the chmod 4555 to /usr/bin/xastir with no luck, Also did a chmod 777 on the serial port (/dev/ttyS0) and no dice there either... I saw your bug report on the Fluxbuntu page, so I guess weĺl have to see what they say, or maybe there is someone smarter than me here that can give some more input.....?????
