Correct, objects currently can not have tactical calls ... too bad,
something to work on.
Also; here are some notes about creating objects in the ~/.xastir/
config/object.log
1) The format is very specific (see examples), spacing and length of
name after the initial semi-colon, plus the accuracy of the
coordinates but near as I can tell the length of the comment is not to
critical.
2) It would be very nice to be able to use longer names, the current
limit of 9 is pretty small
3) Names can not duplicate, would be nice to use the same name if
necessary for two different locations.
4) The only way I've found to activate them is to exit then restart
Xastir.
5) Why is this a .log file, why not just a simple .txt file?

After our SET tomorrow I'll let you know if other issues come up.
Officially we are using Xastir, UI View by those who can't or don't
have time to load Xastir.

The big question is why do the gateway stations that show up on
Xastir not have there own switch to show or not show? Or at least
let us set them up with an tactical call, why was that disable in
the first place?
I'd have to look at Xastir in-memory database struct to be sure, but
I don't think we keep track of who's an igate and who's not.
As far as tactical calls, you should be able to assign those to any
station. Objects and Items currently cannot have a tactical call.
