CSL-Ruby looks very useful, but I don't know if it can be readily used as a 
replacement for what the script currently does. The placeholder strings can be 
anywhere in the template, and one would need to navigate all the XML elements 
to look for those placeholders. Or else, we would have to define what the 
different columns can be used for in the journal lists. The current script 
don't care about the template format, and the output is only as valid as the 
template itself.
