Sorry guys but is this a yes or no?
I agree that a feed url in the addon.xml would be a good idea but this was
requested to get Ellipsis up to scratch for submission on the repo.

Not cool.
Just add the script and if in the future you provide a similar core
feature, deprecate the script.
(Oh and btw, I agree that a definable feed as a core feature for at
least skins makes sense.)
