we realize the extra burden this is on you guys, but there are good
reasons for this. firstly, dharma and eden are very different beast,
as the latter use system python. this has several consequences, the
most important being that we do not inject our vfs. thus, everything
takes manual work to ensure it works with eden (translatePath calls
and all that). secondly, we do not anticipate any api breakage between
eden and frodo (the next version). thus, you will be able to submit
unified pulls for that version. thus, the requirement to keep eden
clean of dharma code - we do not want to carry it forward to frodo as
well.
