they use the same repos, however it will always take the highest version.
So if you make sure that the addon version for Helix one is higher than
Gotham it is safe to have the same ID.
You cannot use the same xbmc.gui in the addon.xml however so you must
submit it separate.
so it can be
Gotham skin.titan 2.0.0 xbmc.gui 5.0.1
Helix skin.titan 3.0.0 xbmc.gui 5.3.0
(as long as skin.titan version is higher in helix)
As for the compatibility that's up to ronie which we have talked about
already :)
