I hope we'll have snow by the time of the first scheduled MadNorSki Tuesday night race
series, which is this Jan 8, right? In case there's not, I think I'll bring my poles
for a jog around the course. Maybe a time or two up the sledding hill. Feel free to
join me?

The "event" will be held as a candlelight hike. Same other details...free
hot chocolate and cider, grills for cooking, brats, chili, and candlelight
SKI t-shirts for sale. And for Lindsay, a bonfire to throw his hiking boots
in after he's done! (This is this Sat., Jan. 5th from 6-9p.m. at Blue Mound
State Park...a one and two mile loop will be lit for hiking...definitely not
enough snow on the trails for even rock skiing in the dark...there is rock
skiing to be had in the picnic area on the top of the mound, but the warm
weather and sun is taking a toll on this area as well). Karl.
