Snow & Trail Conditions at The Telemark Lodge New Snow: One inch Surface snow: 1 - 3 inches KM Open: 48 KM Trackset: 16 KM Skate Groomed: 48 KM Hours: 9 am to 4 pm Approximately 48 KM of the Telemark/North End/Kortelopet 65 KM trail system have been groomed for skating. This includes the Birkebeiner Loops, Tony Wise Trail, John Bauer Trail (to Kortelopet split), Kortelopet Trail (rolled from start to 9 KM), North End Trail, Bill Koch Trail on the south side of Mt. Telemark, Sven Wiik and Caldwell World Cup trails. Classical tracks have been set on the Birkie Loops, Tony Wise Trail and the Kortelopet Trail from 11 KM to 23 KM. Tracks are thin in sections but very good in many sections. The trail snow base is thin. The trails are in fair to good condition and skiable throughout. The Tubing Slope is open. The Snowboarding Slope is open. The Snowshoe Trails are open. |
