No race can be held at Elver. However, there is a small chance that we will be able to hold a ski race on Lake Wingra, Tuesday, January 7. I will check conditions tonight and Tuesday before noon, and make a race decision around noon on Tuesday. The decision will be emailed to this listserve and posted on the MadNorSki hotline at 233-MADK. The race will be held only if the lake is safe for skiing.
If we race, we will meet at the Vilas Park Shelter parking area. It is unlikely we'll have access to the shelter itself. Registration will be from 6:00 to 6:45 PM with a race start at 7:00 PM. This is a long-shot, given the weather forecast, so stay tuned for more information. I will need two volunteers if we race.
