I was
out on Twin Lake in Gov Dodge SP on Monday. Very good skating thanks to
the many skaters (and striders) before me on Sunday. Park at the
boat landing. Go out straight-ish (veer to the left) to the other
side, once the the other side, hang a left and follow the
tracks.
Stewart Park Lake in Mt. Horeb is also good for
skating. Gov Dodge is a much bigger loop. Plus the sounds of
the ice popping at Gov Dodge is priceless. Don't worry, the ice is plenty
thick.
