I
skied with a friend at Twin Valley Lake at Governor Dodge State Park last night.
About 2" of new, slightly sticky snow provided enough to not scrape through to
the ice skiing classic. A skate skier had been out, too, and he or she wasn't
scraping through. I would rate it as good. It would be very good--if there were
hills on the ice! The full circuit, close to shore, gives at least 8K or about
50 min of skiing at my slow pace.
