Well, conditions look a little sketchy for skating. UNfortunately, most of the previous snow melted on the lakes, and so, there is no base to hold the fresh snow. My feet kept sliding out on me when imitating the skating motion. You may have more luck striding,--- or just eating pizza and drinking beer, or better yet-- a trail run and pizza and beer...
