You actually could define a table , such as the powerlog similar to some of our other tables eventlog, auditlog. #recid,rectime, data1, data2,....,comments,disable. And from rvitals record, whatever data, you want using tabch to record returned from rvitals in the cron job. Naming data1, data2, appropriately. Then as Ling says you can use tabdump to pull the records you want, using the [-w attr==val] options. See man tabdump. Lissa K. Do you know you can add your own tables to the xCAT DB? Take a look at /opt/xcat/lib/perl/xCAT_schema/samples/Sample.pm Then you can use xCAT's functions/commans (like tabch, tabdump) to add and retrieve the date from the table.
