Shared or dedicated ethernet network? If shared, does it happen in
steady-state (e.g. just sitting in the OS) or only when booting or other
activity that may induce link up/down events on the shared nic?
FWIW, I've never actually seen the 'Error2' type output except when I put
it in to debug while getting it correct in development. I've not heard of
this behaviour from customers, our support team, or development. These
things can work reliably and reasonably quickly in both dedicated and
shared mode, though in shared mode switch spanning tree being suboptimally
configured particularly hurts on link state change...
