Some additional detail is required.  How many nodes and what type of hardware?  'ps axf' output during an 'rpower on' attempt may be informative.

hi,Lissa:
thanks  a lot that  you track my question zealously !
before I uninstall the Redhat6.2, I had solve the problem of DHCP get timeout.
that key of my table has error . In table of networks ,the nets join in a  wrong segment of ip address which I set .
so ,this problem had been solved.
but ,I am a new problem, we sitll use Redhat6.2 in managerment node,  when we use command  "rpower all on " to power on  all nodes,
the managerment node is running very very slowly. the cpu and memory of managerment node have not more space to run program.

tips: managerment node : redhat6.2
       tested node :redhat 6.2
       xcat release : 2.7
      node number :72
at last , thanks again
