Lissa, The warning occurs when the node names do not have numbers in it. I have fixed it in xCAT 2.8.

If it contains the numbers, it will sort the nodes with the numbers, otherwise the nodes will still be sorted alphabetically. It should not affect other functions. If you do not want to see the warning sign, please comment out "use warnings;" line at the beginning of /opt/xcat/sbin/xcatd file. We'll try to fix it in xCAT 2.8.
