Hallo all I'm testing xCAT v. 2.7.1 and I'm stuck with disk installation of rhels6.1. Installation process go smoothly to the end, write boot sector and then stuck forever on "Running post-installation scripts"
in the MN I got in /var/log/messages this error, repeating lot of times: Jun 8 14:51:56 VR02B05N01 xCAT: xCAT: Allowing getpostscript Jun 8 14:51:56 VR02B05N01 xCAT: Received getpostscript from , which couldn't be correlated to a node (domain mismatch?) Jun 8 14:52:02 VR02B05N01 xCAT: xCAT: Allowing getpostscript Jun 8 14:52:02 VR02B05N01 xCAT: Received getpostscript from , which couldn't be correlated to a node (domain mismatch?) Jun 8 14:52:08 VR02B05N01 xCAT: Received getpostscript from , which couldn't be correlated to a node (domain mismatch?) Seems that no hostname is given in this step. I test the same operation with: only /etc/hosts /etc/hosts and bind only bind domain in site tb is defined hostnames in hosts tb are defined non FQDN Name resolution on MN works, host <node> give me answer. Also on CN it works. I don't know what else can I try, but I'm sure I'm missing a little detail, 'cause in a previous xcat installation hard disk installation was successful. Any hints?
