If you continue with the configuration of xCAT, you'll get to the part where
you have to define a template for the provisioning.
The default template should have something like this in it:
#
# SE Linux
#
selinux --disabled
That template ultimately gets turned into an anaconda script for RHEL systems.
See anaconda documentation for details on the selinux option.

I'm doing some prep work ahead of a delivery of a new iDataplex and I
notice that on the iDataPlex quick start it says:
# [RH] Ensure that SELinux is Disabled
#
# Note: you can skip this step in xCAT 2.8 and above, because
# xCAT does it automatically when it is installed.
However, I didn't notice that mentioned in the xCAT 2.8 release notes
and (on a fresh RHEL 6.4 install with current updates and xCAT 2.8
installed from the yum repo) it appears to be still enabled.
# cat /selinux/enforce
1
# rpm -q xCAT
xCAT-2.8-snap201302181705.x86_64
This is post the first reboot after installing xCAT and I've not done
any configuration to xCAT at all yet.
So is the iDP quick start wrong, or is this something that xCAT is
meant to do but hasn't worked?
