Appreciate that, but unfortunately to make progress bringing this
system up we've moved to a simpler way of doing it (installing
gpfs.base in the package list and then a postinstall script to add a
repo with the updates, update gpfs.base and then install the minimum
necessary for a compute node).   That's worked OK for us.
