ok, I understand - thanks for clarifying, that rinstall will remain a valid command, did not find that wiki entry.

I thought, that it would not make a difference if using rinstall or rsetboot net / rpower boot. And indeed it works, unless you use references to synclists with filenames different from the profile names. This was a little tricky.
But actually, I tested and syncfiles now seem to work even with synclist files named differently from the profile name.

Wouldn't it be better do let rinstall just fail with a message, that rsetboot net/rpower boot should be used instead of proceeding and then not finding synclists? As it works this way, one might end up with an installation that looks good at the first glance, not even seeing any problems, until the first updatenode -F is run at a later point in time...
