Hi gabriel,

Thank you for reporting this doc bug, I have updated it to use "makedns
-n", see the latest doc below:
https://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/xcat/index.php?title=XCAT_iDataPlex_Cluster_Quick_Start#Setup_DNS

If you are setting up a fresh xcat management node, you should run
"makedns -n" or "makedns --new" for the first time, because xcat needs to
new all dns related configurations to adapt the dynamic DNS update,
otherwise, the default dns settings can not accept the dns records update
from xcat. I think this can explain the errors below.

For the SELINUX warning, follow the steps here to disable it.

After a fresh CentOS 6 installation with xCAT 2.8.1 makedns gave:

Warning: SELINUX is not disabled. The makedns command will not be able
to generate a complete DNS setup. Disable SELINUX an
d run the command again.

Running makedns -n resulted in a proper DNS configuration (no error
messages):

Warning: SELINUX is not disabled. The makedns command will not be able
to generate a complete DNS setup. Disable SELINUX and run the command
again.

Thanks for your reply - I didn't want to make that big a deal out of it.
It's also just such a very tiny remark that I actually didn't even want
to ask for permission.
