Hi all,
I am working on setting up a bladecenter chassis with xCAT 2.8. It seems I
have rpower working correctly, however I am seeking to understand the
behind the scenes better.
>From my understanding and reading some of the blade.pm code (if my
understanding is correct), it looks like xCAT is using SNMP to talk to the
chassis that each blade belongs to? Once the chassis receives the command
from the management node, what is the next step it takes? Does it use some
proprietary API to then control the blade's power?
