Both you are correct that the pkglist file has been updated to add
following three additional packages. If you are using your customized
pkglist, please adding these packages to yours.
+e2fsprogs
+parted

That file has since been fixed in the distro, but I had cloned it as comp.centos6.pkglist a while ago. I recopied the current pkglist and reapplied our additions there and now it all works again. There is probably a better way but I have other fires to put out now.
