Hi all, I know I'm behind the times, but I just did 2.6->2.7.8 upgrade last night.
I am confused about the new rinstall command. It can't be run as a regular user as per xcatd's security permissions. It requires root because it accesses the database directly. Is this by design? What's the purpose of this? As a work-around, I just copied in 2.6's rinstall command which works fine. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ HPCC Systems Open Source Big Data Platform from LexisNexis Risk Solutions Find What Matters Most in Your Big Data with HPCC Systems Open Source.
