Hello,
I have four Dell PowerEdge c6220s that freeze during the install process
via pxe and xnba. The other nodes in this cluster, a mix of PE 1950s and PE
R410s, can boot into the CentOS 7 install media and are provisioned
correctly. My xCAT version is 2.9.1.
The install process starts out fine. The nodes download their gpxe,
vmlinuz, initrd.img, and ks files and start booting into the installation
media but the installations halt shortly after that. The last line of
output on the monitor is always "[ OK ] Listening on Avahi mDNS/DNS-SD
Stack Activation Socket." After that, nothing. I left it overnight, came
back and still had the same text on the screen. I've done a bit of
searching and not found anything about this. Maybe I've missed something.
Has anyone experienced this before? Anyone have suggestions for a fix? I'm
not sure what other info to provide so, if anything else would be helpful,
just let me know.
Thanks,
Matt
