Hi Christopher, Unfortunately, we didn't handle 'nicextraparams' in the code of IB part, so it don't work. maybe we can support it in future, but now we don't have enough resource to do it, If you do need this feature, you can modify the code by yourself, if you can pull a request in github and contribute the code to xcat, we are so appreciate. BTW, we move xcat to github now, the link is https://github.com/xcat2/

I'd like to change it to CONNECTED mode. To do this I tried: > > * chdef n101 nicextraparams=CONNECTED_MODE=yes Close, this works for us: nicextraparams.ib0=MTU=65520 CONNECTED_MODE=yes This is because we want to run with jumbo frames for our IB network as we're running GPFS over IPoIB. I don't think I ever said thanks to the xCAT developers for implementing this for us. So thanks! :-) Best of luck, Chris -- Christopher Samuel Senior Systems Administrator VLSCI - Victorian Life Sciences Computation Initiative Email: [email protected] Phone: +61 (0)3 903 55545 http://www.vlsci.org.au/ http://twitter.com/vlsci ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ xCAT-user mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/xcat-user
