Thanks Chris and all. I was looking at it this morning and thought that it
made sense to add a .ib0 at the end and lo-and-behold it worked! So the end
result is:


   - chdef n101 nicextraparams.ib0=CONNECTED_MODE=yes


I just found the replies to my email and look at that, it is the same!
Thanks Chris and everyone for getting that to work. Now just need some
documentation about it to make it easier for people to use. This is a great
system even for a small cluster like ours (only about 1700 cores now but
growing). Fairly steep learning curve but should make things easy in the
long-run.
