I saw there's a repodata directory in the https://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/7/x86_64/, so I think the use this url as a yum repo should work directly.

We figure out all the packages we’ll need, including dependencies, and with the proper repo configured on the management node call yum downloader for each package. Keep them all in one otherpkgs directory and each time we add or remove packages just re-run createrepo on that otherpkgs directory. Then just use “otherpkgs” as described in the xCAT documentation. Is there a way to include packages (like torque-client) that are in the EPEL repository when generating a stateless image with genimage? I see that there is "otherpkgs" that allows us to create our own repos but it looks like I'd need to sync the EPEL repo locally in order to do this. -- ________________________________________________________________ Steve Cousins Supercomputer Engineer/Administrator Advanced Computing Group University of Maine System 244 Neville Hall (UMS Data Center) (207) 561-3574 Orono ME 04469 steve.cousins atmaine.edu ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Monitor Your Dynamic Infrastructure at Any Scale With Datadog!
