Thanks very much for the detailed explanation. I'm not sure I followed all
of it but I think I understand enough for what I need.
If I could get some confirmation that I could replace my 2.9 repo file with
the 2.10 repo file and then do "yum update" and everything would update
correctly that would be helpful. If that isn't the way to do it please let
me know what the proper way is.
I'm a proponent of the snap-builds if it means that we can get bug fixes
through YUM rather than through git. It looks like that is what I must have
done with this system since I have a snap repo. I think it was to get other
CentOS 7 functionality. If a new 2.9 snap build could be created with the
synclists bug fix included that would be helpful.
