Confluent 1.3.0 is out. Notable changes:
-Better behavior in the event of misconfigured DNS resolution
-Support ssh sessions (mainly intended to provide SSH protocol to web
developers)
-Add 'known hosts' attributes for TLS and SSH connections
-Significant enhancements to the HTTP service
-Async aggregation to enable out-of-order, low request count
multiplexing of requests, consoles, and shells
-Various session improvements to enable web developers to
manage authentication explicitly
-Provide hooks to detect remote log-out, allowing web ui to
immediately disconnect
-Memory consumption improvements
-Improve log replay ability
-Enhanced developer facilities
-kill -USR1 now writes a stack trace of all threads to
/var/log/confluent/hangtraces
-nc -U /var/run/confluent/db.sock allows developer to examine
the service in a live python interpreter
-New commands
nodeinventory (like rinv, show node inventory, enhanced to show
adapter info on select systems)
nodefirmware (currently lists available firmware)
There are also a number of smaller fixes and enhancements.
