when os provision is finished successfully, the node will still try to boot from network, but since xCAT will leave a "#boot exit" in the boot loader configuration to tell the node to exit and try the next boot option configured in firmware.
 
# cat /tftpboot/xcat/xnba/nodes/<node>
#!gpxe
#boot
exit
 
ps, xCAT provide a doc on os provision on lenovo nx360m5

Can someone look at this issue?
Don't we normally leave the boot to network and simply put "#boot" to tell the boot loader to continue to the next boot?

We are installing a number of Lenovo nx360m5 nodes -
they're set to network boot they come up - they build ok
but after they reboot the they're told to boot from the
local disk by dhcp they don't.  If I manually switch the
node to boot from disk that works fine.

I think this may have been discussed here previously??

Any help would be appreciated.
