Hi Mark,
No errors, I have tried boot and same thing, tried multiple times same issue.
Nothing in particular visible in logs, these are diskfull VMs.

Siddharth,

1. Do you see any errors when you issue "rpower vm1 on"? Anything interesting
in /var/log/xcat/computes.log or /var/log/xcat/cluster.log ?
2. Have you tried "rpower vm1 boot" instead of "rpower vm1 on" ?
3. Is the failure consistent ? If you issue "rpower vm1 on"second time, does it
fail again ?
4. Are you creating diskless or diskfull VMs ?

Subject: [xcat-user] Vm doesnt turn on
________________________________

Hi Team,
I have made a shell script to automate the number of vm I can spin up. I have a
weird issue, say Increate 2 vms, when I do "rpower vm1 on" it doesnt turn on at
all, whereas "rpower vm2 on" does turn on. The same happens if I create 3 vms,
except the last one, rest none of them turn on.
What could be the issue ?
