The vendor's firmware is acting fine, there's nothing it could do to
get the boot to progress as is.  If you did xnba style booting legacy,
a similara thing would occurr.  The issue is we started doing xnba as a
way to reduce tftp compared to pxelinux, and when UEFI came along we
were already quite attached to http-booting so we only did an xnba-
style UEFI.

So the difference is between xnba-style and pxelinux-style rather than
UEFI and Legacy.  xnba does require the more convoluted dhcp
configuration, but we were mostly thinking of xCAT auto-configured dhcp
servers so it wasn't seen as much of a downside at the time.

In the meantime I ask the vendor the new firmware and now I'm still
getting the same error via UEFI but I can install the server in legacy
mode.

If you have any suggestions to try via UEFI I will try them otherwise I
will keep the server in legacy mode.
