yeh, for xcat 2.13.4 release, we didn't support rspconfig command for
cumulus switch . It added xcat 2.14.4.

Actually found switches table with ssh user name and password fields.
I tried to copy the SSH credentials using this command but it failed:

rspconfig edge20 sshcfg
Error: The following 'onie' switches are unsupported:
edge20

lsdef edge20 output:
Object name: edge20
    groups=edge,switches,switch
    ip=172.30.30.20
    mgt=switch
    nodetype=switch
    password=********
    postbootscripts=otherpkgs
    postscripts=syslog,remoteshell,syncfiles,setupntp,ipoib,hardeths
    switchtype=onie
    username=cumulus

            Hi, David:

            xCAT should able to support cumulus switch on 2.13.4,
            are u looking for switch configure file in the `/var/opt/xcat`?
            The configuration file is NOT needed for xCAT 2.8 and later.

            you can use this script
            `xCAT-server/share/xcat/scripts/configonie` (check --help) to
            config the cumulus switches.

            the switchtype is "onie" for cumulus switch. to config the ssh
            (used default username and password):

            /opt/xcat/share/xcat/scripts/configonie --switches switchname
            --ssh

            Make sure switch is defined in the xCAT db.

            Thanks,

            Thanks for the earlier answer. Now I'm trying to figure out how
            to do xdsh or psh to these
            switches -- custom password, userid "cumulus", etc. I found a
            2015 doc mentioning /var/opt/xcat
            containing definitions for various supported switch types, but
            I can't find anything there.

                        you might need to add em3 and em1 to
                        site.dhcpinterfaces.
                        [root@boston36 ~]# tabdump -d site|grep dhcpinterf

                        dhcpinterfaces: The network interfaces DHCP should
                        listen on. If it is the same for all nodes, use a
                        comma-separated list of the NICs. To specify
                        different NICs for different nodes, use the format:
                        "xcatmn|eth1,eth2;service|bond0",
                        where xcatmn is the name of the management node,
                        DHCP should listen on the eth1 and eth2 interfaces.
                        All the nodes in group 'service' should listen on
                        the 'bond0' interface.

                        and well define the 2 networks in networks table.

                        Please feel free to ask us if any issue.

                        switches with xCAT

                        Currently running xCAT 2.13.4. I've been manually
                        installing and configuring
                        our CumulusLinux based switches, and it's getting
                        old.
                        I've got more than a dozen deployed, and now they
                        want OS upgrades....

                        I noticed some online docs about managing switches
                        with xCAT, but nothing specific to cumulus linux.
                        I'd like to use the xcat httpd to serve the images,
                        and maybe use xdcp and xdsh to do the configuration
                        and license installation. However I don't want to
                        mess up the rest of the cluster.

                        The biggest issue is that the TOR switch management
                        ports are on a completely different network from
                        the cluster nodes. I have the xCAT master attached
                        to that net on interface em3. I'd like to add a
                        small dynamic
                        DHCP range on that 10.4.y.z network while nodes
                        continue to boot and install on the existing
                        172.20.p.q (em1) network.
                        Also need to have the web server listening on em3.

                        Thanks,
