As a bit more of a followup: No postscripts are running on stateful install, and so because 'remoteshell' isn't run, all of the other postscripts fail. We can SSH into the node, provide the password and then run /xcatpost/remoteshell which appears to work, as we can now SSH into the node without having to provide a password, and postscripts can be run via 'updatenode'
