Hi ,Damir
The new policy implementation due to California PASSWORD Law requirement ,so
if you want to keep the default USERID/PASSW0RD ,so IMM settings should be
update (please be note that if you load default IMM, the settings would be
default as below )

IMM.ComplexPassword=Enabled
IMM.FirstAccessPwChange=Enabled
IMM.PasswordReuse=5 Passwords
IMM.PasswordAge=90
IMM.MinPasswordLen=10
IMM.DefPasswordExp=Enabled
IMM.ComplexPassword=Enabled

Best wishes,

主题: [External] [xcat-user] running bmc setup and the USERID password

Lenovo has implemented change the USERID password from the default PASSW0RD in
recent firmware iterations. We had success in implementing an expect script
that ran after the bmcsetup script ran that would change the password to our
own.

However, in the recent batch of nodes, the default password (PASSW0RD) is
changed / different. Does anyone know what the new password is? Also, this new
policy of having to change the bmc password right away is, to say the least,
not convenient. We spend more time now messing with the bmc scripts than
deploying the nodes.

Is there a procedure or some step that I am missing?

Thanks,
Damir
