Hello, We are trying to install RHELS 7.9 on a Dell PowerEdge C6525. This is a diskless installation. The test node has been discovered by xcat, the image is picked up and the installation starts as expected. Unfortunately, the installation hangs at 'random: crng init done' and gets no further. We have tried switching to RH 7.8 and installing the haveged rpm with RH 7.9, but neither of these approaches have helped. Could someone please offer some advice?
I've never seen this sort of behaviour before and haven't got a clue what to try next. Should we look at upgrading the firmware, for example? Best regards, David
