Matthew and Frank xCAT 2.16.3 supports running on SLES15 SP2 x86 Management node and provisioning SLES15 SP2 x86 service and compute nodes. We are currently looking at supporting SLES15 SP3 on x86 for the next xCAT release. Try "chdef <node> addkcmdline=YAST_SKIP_XML_VALIDATION=1" as a workaround for XML DOM problem when provisioning SLES15 SP3 x86 compute nodes. Another place to look for OS support is "Test Environment" section at the bottom of the Release notes. Hello Matthew, yes, I'm faced the same problem with the client autoyast template which isn't in sync with the new XML DOM shipped with sles15.3. Sles15.2 client installation are patient, but starting with sles15.3 the autoinstaller checks the DOM and stops the installation. In the end the installation is running smoothly, but need 'manual' interaction in the gocons of the node in question. I also rewrote the template, but haven't finished it completely. I will re-check it as my new xCAT instance is running and post it here or compile a bug report.
