We are rebuilding our dev cluster and making athe move from XCAT to Confluent,
it has been reported to back to me today that, "Confluent appears to be
designed to use physical nodes with BMCs (ILO,iDRAC, etc.). So far I've been
unable to get it to configured to deploy virtual machines."

Are there any special steps needed to pxe boot RHEL 9 stateless images to
virtual nodes running under ESX?

We don't have admin rights to create the virtual machines, but we can change
most of the settings.

The current settings for the first test node, 00, are as follows.

Firmware: BIOS
Boot Delay: 10000

Boot Order:
CD-ROM Drive
Network boot from VMware VMXNET3
Network boot from VMware VMXNET3 #2
Network boot from VMware VMXNET3 #3
Hard Drive
