I intend to have "svg [-view|-page|-all]" to generate SVG from the
current window view, the current page, or the entire document.
Probably the entire page will end up as the default, not the
current window view as is the case now.  I'm not exactly sure what
I should do for an entire document---I suppose I should create a
directory and add one file per page of the document (along with
supporting documents like images, and maybe an index HTML page).

You're welcome.  Let me know when you find problems with the output.
I am using Firefox to view the output, but that has its own set of
limitations.

Fixing up version control seems like a good thing to do at this point.
Even if it's not much more than timestamping library objects.
