All this sounds perfectly good to me. However, if updating the
XCircuit tutorial is better than a New Year's party, it's either a
lousy party, or you're spending way too much time at the computer.

I'm waiting for the iPad version with the two-finger zoom function. . .
I totally agree with the statement that XCircuit is sub-par in the
useability department (response to a previous email, not cited).
There is some mismatch between functions available from the menu
and those available at a keystroke, and very little documentation
beyond the tutorial to help beginners. The tutorial was my way of
making up for the lack of guidance in the program itself, but even
the tutorial does not completely cover the capabilities of the program,
and could certainly use updating (though not necessarily on New Year's
Eve).
